Mello Construction Awarded Two Contracts Worth $14,250,000

Mello Construction, Inc. was recently awarded two contracts - one from The City of Newton, and one from The Brockton Housing Authority.

The City of Newton contract valued at $11,522,000, consists of one building, three stories above grade, with a total floor area of 81,000 square feet, designed by Drummey Rosane Anderson, Inc, of Newton, MA. The project is underway and scheduled to be completed November, 2002.

The Brockton Housing Authority project valued at $2,728,000 consists of modernization of 122 existing units. The work will also include adapting existing units to hadicap configuration and the modernization of existing handicap units.  The designers are McKinnell & Taylor, Inc. of Norwell, MA.  The work is to begin mid November, 2001, and is scheduled for completion in August, 2002.
